Teacher Preview Breakfast & Wish Lists

Teachers are invited to enjoy breakfast and place their wishlist books in their labeled baskets. Teachers will receive their name in a drawing for every 10 books they place in their "Book Wish Basket"

7:30 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.

Parents, families, & friends will have the opportunity to purchase hand-selected books for your classroom teacher during our official book fair week (parent-teacher conference week), which will allow your child's classroom library selections to grow, as well as introductions to new literature as part of teaching lessons.

Volunteer

One of our best fundraisers of the year is our Scholastic Book Fair, that annually occurs during the week of the spring Sturgis Elementary School Conference week!

In order to have a successful event, we do need some time from our outstanding volunteers. We plan to have plenty of volunteers available during the SES school conference time slots, so that if your child has a conference during your volunteer time, you may step away to attend your own child's conference.

All For Books

We will be collecting loose change or asking if you would like to round up purchases during your Fair as donation. We will donate these books to your school library, classrooms, students in need, or a nonprofit in your community.

The All for Books money we collect also helps readers beyond our school and community. Scholastic Book Fairs® matches monetary donations with a donation of up to $1 million in books from The Scholastic Possible Fund, which distributes books to children in need through organizations such as Kids In Need Foundation, Reader to Reader, Inc., and the National Center for Families Learning.

Your act of kindness helps bring more knowledge, imagination, and love for reading into the lives of our students. Thank you!

Local Donors

The Sturgis Rally Charities Foundation donated to our 2023 book fair to support our mission in promoting reading and providing home libraries for every child. Their commitment and dedication to community members, families, and children is outstanding.
